Drop Ball Impact Tester

Application:

Rigid, rigid-worn toys such as masks, helmets, eyeglasses, etc. should be tested by the ball impact test method (Drop Ball Impact Test).

This collision test aims to determine whether the toy can harm the face especially the eyes.

This impact test method is done by dropping a 16mm diameter steel ball weighing 15 grams from a certain height according to the specified standard.

After this collision test process the test sample should not:

a) Produce dangerous spiky parts (tested with the Sharp Point Tester tool).

b) Produce dangerous sharp parts (tested with the Sharp Edge Tester tool)

c) produces dangerous loose parts.
